Youth are invited to join us in an immersive wizarding world. The camp is the show, as we will be in costume and in character the whole time. Our camps teach theatre with a side of STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, and Music) - so even if you're not a "theatre" kid, there's something for everyone. because incorporating all learning styles allows us to fully explore the story. The magical world of Theatrical Wizardry brings together all of the creative arts to welcome your child into our wonderful wizarding world.
We do things a bit differently from other theatre camps...

The journey begins with a personalized acceptance letter by Owl Post.

Each two-week session starts by sorting students into four unique houses, Phoenixfire, Stonedragon, Windhorse, & Waverider and a Wand Workshop where they receive and customize their own wizards' wands.
In their multi-age houses, they meet in common rooms for teamwork games and activities to explore the qualities of peace, hope, strength, and love, serve magical snacks to the community, and complete a service project... because we teach that the real magic in life is helping others. Together they earn house points to try to win the house cup, but learning kindness and cooperation is more important than competition. |
Wizarding Classes:
Every morning, students attend intensive theatre classes with kids their own age based on national core theatre arts standards and the Harry Potter books. |
Most were written by Headmistress Iris Imaginoria (aka Jessica Gray, Artistic & Education Director of The Imaginorium) who earned her PhD in Theatre from Louisiana State University.
|
In the afternoons we work together to produce original short plays based on the themes. Students can choose to act or participate in the production team. This year our original plays were developed by students at Winter Wizards Academy!

From one of our campers: "I like coming to the Imaginorium because it’s really fun! I don’t have to be serious, I can just spend a whole day being geeky and silly with my friends while taking part in creative and lively activities directly from Harry Potter. Everyone’s being their wildest self, and it’s a very happy environment."
