Nowadays, it's a lot safer to stay home, and no one really wants to go anywhere or do anything extra. But your kids still need something more interactive than just watching tv or playing video games (or snapchat and making tiktok videos, in my case)...
This is why I'm in love with The Imaginorium's online options: Outschool! We offer interactive classes similar to the ones we offer at our camps, but your kids take them online from a computer or smartphone in the comfort of your own home. No driving! And this differs from online classes you have to do. I know a lot of kids are feeling "Zoomed out" at the end of a long day of distance learning, but extracurricular classes give social and arts opportunities that enrich life so much.
We choose specific times for the classes, but if the times don't work for your family, you can request other times. I have tried to set up some times during the day for homeschool families as well as after school and weekend times for kids who go to regular school.

Wizarding School of Drama on the Rainbow Path
Ongoing Course, 60 minutes, Ages 9-14 Make some theatre magic! We meet weekly for different dramatic arts activities, and we produce online plays related to The Rainbow Path. Meets Wednesday at 6 pm Eastern and Sunday at noon Eastern.

Multi-verse Travelers: LGBTQ+ Doctor Who Fandom Group
In this ongoing class, geeky LGBTQA+ youth and allies will gather to explore themes and topics in episodes of the new Doctor Who, confronting stereotypes, hopefully making new friends, and perhaps seeking new ways to change the world.
We are currently watching Season 10 with the 12th Doctor and his companion Bill, one of the most clearly defined lesbian characters on the show.
